 - PORTO - CIDADE INVICTA
Invicta quer dizer Invencível, porém recuando na história, a cidade foi tomada pelos mouros em 715, sendo reconquistada por Vimara Peres em 868. Depois, não há registos de nenhum ataque significativo, mas o espírito invencível sempre esteve lá. É no século XIX que nasce o principal motivo do título “Invicta”.
 - PORTO - UNDEFEATED CITY
Invicta means Invincible, but going back in history, the city was taken by the Moors in 715, and was reconquered by Vimara Peres in 868. After that, there are no records of any significant attacks, but the invincible spirit was always there. It was in the 19th century that the main reason for the title “Invicta” was born.
